Within the marketing organization, the Senior Director, Media & Partner Activations position will focus on all activities across the Dolby brand portfolio, from established projects to emerging opportunities.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Finding and negotiating partnerships that enhance and uplift the Dolby brand
  • Executing partnerships from start to finish in conjunction with core team members
  • Develop positive ongoing relationships with industry leaders across entertainment, gaming, music, sports and other categories as appropriate
  • Establish process and procedure for advertising activation across media, sponsorships and integrations
  • Direct the team and agency partners in media strategy, plan development and execution of correct audience segments
    • Ensure SEO/SEM syncs
    • Deliver best/new opportunities to market
    • Create KPI and actionable plans with Research/Reporting team lead
    • Meticulously evaluate and provide insightful feedback on Dolby spends across B2B and B2C areas to drive high level learnings
  • Establish best practices with the legal team and business affairs for developing, negotiating and executing contracts and other materials as needed (media, partnerships, sponsorships)

 

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in media, partnerships and strategic planning
  • Must have strong network of industry related partners: Tech and Entertainment
  • Demonstrated track record of Industry expertise and never-been-done before executions in marketing
  • Ability to develop a strong team dynamic; lead a nimble and forward-thinking team to drive executions forward successfully
  • Ability to continually learn and understand quickly evolving areas such as social, sports, pop culture and events
