Dolby Laboratories is seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Partnerships Manager to join our team. As the Retail Partnerships Manager, you will play a critical role in establishing and maintaining relationships with key global OEMs and retail partners to drive the adoption and growth of Dolby technologies and products.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic partnerships relationships with TV OEMs and Retailers in the consumer electronics industry in the US market to promote Dolby technologies and products.
  • Nurture and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at existing OEM licensees and retail partners, serving as the primary point of contact for all partnership-related matters in the US.
  • Driving engagement & programs to grow Dolby’s technology attach in retail and products.
  • Driving engagement and programs with retail partners to improve sell through of all products – this should be broader than TV – to include DMA, soundbar, PC, etc.
  • Driving programs with partners (device OEMs, content/services, and retail) that highlight the interplay and coming together of the device, service, content etc. ecosystem and experience.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop and implement sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and training programs to drive retail partner engagement and sales.
  • Work with global sales teams within Dolby to drive engagement with the US teams of key global OEM partners to drive adoption and promotion of Dolby technologies and experiences within OEM products and promotions.
  • Managing the relationship with the US teams of global TV OEMs including product manager, marketing teams, business teams
  • Bringing new technologies to market with OEMs and retail partners.
  • Work with Marketing to drive programs to increase consumer awareness and preference through partner marketing programs with key OEM and retail partners.
  • Work closely with the Product Management team to understand Dolby's product offerings and ensure effective positioning of Dolby technologies in retail partner environments.
  • Collaborate with product management to develop new features and solutions for the customer base.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide insights and recommendations for OEM and retail partnership strategies.
  • Lead contract negotiations and partner agreements, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both Dolby and the OEM/retail partners.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, market performance, and partner metrics to measure the effectiveness of retail partnership initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ability to think creatively and maximize impact of programs.

The San Francisco/Bay Area base salary range for this full-time position is $195,900 - 239,400K plus bonus, equity, and benefits, and can vary if outside of this location. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range and perks and benefits for your location during the hiring process.
