The Strategic Business Operations Team (SBO) at Dolby is looking for a Summer Intern to work in an impactful, collaborative work environment. The intern will help drive business initiatives critical to the ongoing growth of the team and be responsible for developing a deep understanding of Dolby business model and internal processes.



  • Process diverse sets of information to provide summary-level insights and recommendations
  • Improve the quality and consistency of data and data management
  • Help identify opportunities for systems and processes for efficiency and effectiveness
  • Problem solving and providing business insights and recommendations
  • Assist in re-designing Vendor Management platform’s analytical functionality
  • Assist in process related to Patent Analysis and Budget & Financial Analysis
  • Knowledge management
  • Take ownership over projectsProvide operational support to the department



  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite (in particular Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills)
  • Demonstrate interest in learning new software/programming
  • Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be able to work remotely



  • Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Business Operations, Business Management, or a related field; recent grads who are within 6 months of graduation are also eligible to apply
  • Must be available to work full-time Monday–Friday for 3-months between May/June 2022–August/September 2022
  • Start dates for the internship are as follows: (*note* these dates are not flexible) 
    • Monday, May 23, 2022
    • Monday, June 6, 2022
    • Monday, June 20, 2022
