Job Summary:
The Senior Information Developer is an expert in crafting, refining, and adapting subject matter information tailored for diverse user personas. Operating independently, this role embraces cutting-edge technologies, spearheads intricate UX research, analyzes data, and enriches user-centric content. The Senior Information Developer sets projects priorities and timelines, offers guidance to peers, and consistently expands their knowledge base. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience are prerequisites.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate profound expertise in crafting and refining subject matter information for user personas.
- Lead independent, intricate UX research to unveil user insights and needs.
- Set effective project priorities and timelines based on objectives, requirements, and ongoing task.
- Efficiently manage resources to deliver high-quality outcomes within established timeframes.
- Apply research, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills to assess factors from diverse sources and achieve desired outcomes.
- Interpret and refine practices and methods to elevate the quality and effectiveness of user-focused information development.
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes for generating and delivering optimized content to users.
- Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to team members to enhance their capabilities.
- Continuously expand knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends to augment expertise.
- Share insights with colleagues to contribute to overall team growth and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Information, Design, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience developing user-focused technical content and solutions.
- Working understanding of UX research fundamentals
- Experience in prompt engineering for generative AI
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Scrum certified as a Scrum Master or Product Owner
- Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
- Ability to work independently and lead complex initiatives.
- Outstanding communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Continuous learner mindset with a passion for building expertise.
- Commitment to providing mentorship and knowledge sharing.
- Authoring experience with technical writing standards like DITA, XML.
- Proficiency in tools including Oxygen XML Editor, Git, Jira, Confluence, MS Office Suite

The Atlanta Area base salary range for this full-time position is $104,900 - $126,200 which can vary if outside this location, plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
