Dolby Laboratories International Services Inc. has an opening for an Associate for a fixed term contract to join the License Compliance Team. In this role, the Associate promotes a Dolby’s licensee to comply with the obligations of intellectual property agreements going through the entire Royalty Compliance Audit process as follow:

  • License Compliance Review – Facilitating the entire royalty audit process for Dolby and licensees while tracking and maintaining audit statuses
  • Support on communication with internal and external stakeholders – Collaborating with internal departments, third-party external auditors, licensees, and market regulators, etc.
  • Support in the daily team administration – Assisting the team’s overall daily administration

 

This post is for a 6-month fixed-term position with the possibility of an extension up to 12 months.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, law or other relevant filed
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or ACL
  • Fluent in English and Korean communication skills – any other Asian language is an advantage
  • Accounting / internal audit certification holder preferred (CPA, CA, ACCA, CIA, etc.)
  • Having prior experience in the royalty review or internal audit is an asset.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a talent for effectively managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Skills in analyzing royalty agreements and related data and documents
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A proactive, solution-oriented approach with a curious mindset
