Essential Job Functions:
- Integrates broad and deep technical knowledge to affect efficient and effective testing
- Manages test engineering aspects of key project(s)
- Applies innovative thinking and creative approaches to lead process and drives test driven product development
- Works on abstract problems requiring evaluation of intangible variables
- Develops methods and techniques based on strategic project objectives
- Develops and uses strong relationships to understand customer requirements and expectations
- Manages a team of test engineers
- Provides leadership and guidance to others
- Leads the execution of a complete test initiative for innovative Dolby Imaging/Video algorithms and software from proof of concept to high quality, scalable, reliable media solutions for the world
- Collaborate with research teams, development and product owners as an integrated effort
- Able to work in fast-paced working environment with dynamic projects; Agile teamwork experience is a plus.
- Responsible for schedule estimations
- Responsible for test strategy, planning, designs and reporting
- Create, extend and maintain CI and test infrastructures
- Follow best practices for source control development, continuous integration, automated testing, and release management.
- Produce and maintain detailed effective documentation of work.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of related or comparable experience
The San Francisco/Bay Area base salary range for this full-time position is $190,300 - 261,500 which can vary if outside this location, plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
