At Dolby U we are looking for undergraduate/graduate students across Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science and broader STEM disciplines to join a cutting-edge Research and Development facility for a practically focused paid internship.

As an Intern Researcher, you will be part of of Dolby’s Orchestrated Play and Listen research team where connected audio devices work together seamlessly to deliver a broad range of immersive audio experiences using the smart devices in their home. If you are interested in speech/audio signal processing and AI/Machine learning, this is a great opportunity to gain experience in a cutting edge research team.

 

 The Dolby U internships are a great way to get exposure to cool technology areas, grow your skills, and a pathway to full time opportunities with Dolby.  

Education, Skills, Abilities, and Experience Required:

  • Current Electrical Engineering/Software Engineering/Computer Science/Mechatronics/Physics  or similar STEM student
  • Experience in a programming language such as C, Python, Julia or Matlab.
  • Knowledge of DSP or Machine learning/Deep Learning /AI
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • The ability to work unsupervised when required.
