The opportunity: 


We are a multi-talented team of software engineers in Dolby’s Advanced Technology Group, working on the Dolby.io Interactive API product. We build a highly performant conferencing server that supports billions of communication minutes around the globe 24/7. We also build media processing libraries that run on desktop, mobile, and web platforms. We are a diverse team that works closely like a family but with different interests, thinking, and cultural backgrounds. 


In this job, you will be: 

  • Working on new features that will shape the future of our media server, media processing libraries, frontend web/mobile/desktop SDKs, and/or backend services. 
  • Working with the team to deliver high-quality documentation, thorough unit/system testing and best continuous integration/delivery practices into our product. 
  • Working with the team to continuously improve our engineering practices, agile process, technical skills and team culture. 


We are looking for: 


  • A talented software engineer with good understanding of computer science disciplines and software engineering practices with 3-8 years of professional experience. 
  • A problem-solver who enjoys finding elegant solutions. 
  • A good communicator who can clearly articulate complex concepts, and enjoys sharing their ideas, and knowledge with others. 
  • A quick learner who can add a new programming language, or a new concept to their repertoire. 
  • A self-starter who takes initiative to continuously improve. 
  • A team player who can motivate others and collaboratively solve problems.
