Dolby.io is the new self-service API experience that will bring Dolby’s innovations to the world. In this role, you’ll see and hear the results of your work everywhere as developers use our APIs to create great applications. 

 

What will you do:

 

We are building a new and high-visibility self-service API experience that will bring Dolby’s innovations to new and existing customers. We're looking for people to help us forge a new direction for our products & technology. If you are adept at designing, developing, and deploying front-end web applications and like to be challenged, this is the perfect opportunity for you to help define this exciting new field for Dolby.

  • Build user interfaces and reusable components for web-based media processing and analysis applications
  • Deliver quality work against technical and schedule challenges in an agile environment
  • Continuous integration & deployment using UI/UX, web architecture, web applications

 

You’ll work in an agile team alongside algorithm developers, QA, a product owner and a tech writer to create media processing APIs like https://dolby.io/products/enhance/.  

 

What we are looking for:

 

  • B.S. (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable field with 4+ years’ professional experience designing, developing & deploying commercial, scalable, and secure frontend applications
  • Proficiency using modern web development technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, etc.
  • Proficiency with React.JS, Node.JS, Redux and test development using Jest
  • Experience with Data Visualization and interfaces displaying data and/or audio and video

What would be good to have:

 

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and/or Azure
  • Experience with media-based services (audio/video media ingest and distribution)
