Dolby technologies are present in almost every part of audio ecosystem from production to playback. In this role you will focus on porting and optimizations of Dolby audio playback technologies to a variety of target platforms and processors. From PC through TVs and Set-Top-Boxes to flagship mobile and exciting wearables, be it Linux, Android or Windows, your task will be to meet demanding performance budget while preserving spectacular technology experience.


Place: Wrocław, POLAND.



  • Porting of audio codecs and post-processing technologies from reference C code to resource constraint platforms (DSP, embedded CPUs, mobile, etc.)
  • Code optimizations with use of SIMD intrinsics (vectorization)
  • Performance evaluation and measurements of optimized code for various target platforms and OS
  • Signal processing algorithms analysis in terms of complexity reduction
  • Cooperation with team members, industry leaders and stakeholders from various continents
  • Reporting progress to supervising engineer




  • A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or comparable field.
  • Solid programming skills in low level C under Linux environment
  • Interest in signal processing and mathematics
  • Interest in writing efficient data-oriented code and performance tuning
  • Basic automation skills in Python (or other scripting language)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
