Summary

As the Information Development & Experience (IDX) Intern based in Wrocław, you will collaborate with technical writers and engineers in Europe to learn how to source, curate, publish, and analyze information at scale for various technologies in Dolby. Using this information as background, you will then assist our team in building the next generation of information experience for our internal teams. One example could be an AI-powered Documentation Assistant for projects where there is a lot of information to share between teams and they need to converse with an agent connected to a knowledge graph. In general, you will consult and provide expertise towards building innovative tools using the latest technology advancements in Machine Learning, Knowledge Graphs, Data Analysis that handle large collections of textual information.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Build a basic understanding of how information is authored at scale for various projects in Dolby.
  • Contribute towards tool or component improvements.
  • Provide guidance and assistance on metadata, tagging, and annotating large amounts of data.
  • Build some data analysis around tools usage and share data analytics awareness across our team.
  • Contribute towards improving our internal tools for language quality and style.

 

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and expertise in Natural Language Processing, Computer Science, or Data Analytics
  • Some knowledge in Machine Learning, Data Analytics, and Knowledge Graphs
  • Beginner/Intermediate Python / R knowledge and related data science packages, such as Pandas, Numpy, etc.
  • Good English skills: written and spoken

 

Nice to have:

  • Some experience with writing scripts
  • Some taxonomy knowledge
  • Some collaboration skills
