Summary:

You will learn during this internship how to assist the IT Infrastructure Engineering team in providing support to business groups. This involves supporting operational efforts, attending weekly meetings, helping with project work, and more. During this internship you will be responsible for both the on-premises and cloud infrastructure, with special attention to new solutions being developed for the cloud. During your day-to-day work in the IT Infrastructure Engineering team, you will be: implementing and evaluating new technologies, gathering requirements while collaborating in projects, documenting, coordinating work, and delivering end user support.

Responsibilities:

· Cooperate – assist with the network, cloud services, end user hardware and software.

· Communicate – understand the needs and expectations of various engineering groups.

· Enhance – propose improvements for the infrastructure, processes, and IT solutions.

· Adapt – flexibly react to environment changes.

· Document – update the ticketing system, intranet portal and knowledge base.

· Comply – observe Service Level Agreements, policies, standards, and other rules.

· Troubleshoot – remediate issues, search for root causes.

Qualifications:

· Interpersonal skills with an interest to develop communication in business environment.

· Basic written and spoken English – ability to communicate easily and frequently.

· Basic knowledge of infrastructure components: network, servers, storage.

· Basic knowledge of cloud services in any of: AWS, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, Azure.

· Basic knowledge of computer networking concepts.

Nice to have:

· Cloud certification, achievements in the cloud or networking area.
