As part of Dolby’s Lab Management Team, you will learn from and support a Team of Engineers focused on the holistic support and integration of Dolby technology and industry related advancements. Our goal- to improve, document and support efficient systems and processes to allow Dolby business teams to function more effectively.

 

As a member of the Lab Management Team, you will have the opportunity to grow professionally in areas related to Audio-Visual integration/design, Project Coordination, Documentation and Process creation. You will also have an opportunity to learn and interact with various Business Groups within Dolby including but not limited to- Operations, Cinema, Broadcast, Technical OPS, Service and Support, Marketing and more.

 

SUMMARY

Special Projects Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day management of one or more operations support projects. The position will need to work collaboratively with business teams and technical partners to achieve project objectives. This is a highly visible role with opportunity to work with leaders across different departments.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support teams on active projects including but not limited to document creation, process documentation, data analysis, AV integration,
  • Assist Project Managers in managing and maintaining projects across portfolio,
  • Coordinate and assist with regularly scheduled meetings with core teams,
  • Lead smaller to moderate sized projects,
  • Help develop and document internal process improvements

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint
  • Project administration and management skills
  • Process oriented attitude
  • Technical background or strong interest in A/V technology
  • Understanding tools used for Process Documentation (process flow charting, documenting processes)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Reliability, flexibility and solid work ethic
  • Good communicator, openness to learn and positive attitude a must!
  • Advanced English skills
