Summary

Dolby provides technologies designed to provide the best sound, picture, and environment for any movie. During Dolby internship, you will be involved in product development for the cinema market. The team you will join is responsible for the implementation of system and application-level software for the Linux platform. In this role, you will design and develop enhancements to the platform. Duties include also modification of existing software to fix bugs, improve usability or increase performance. This position presents a great opportunity to learn about audio and video technologies, software development, as well as all aspects of the software product engineering.

Responsibilities

• Linux configuration
• working with git source control
• C and C++ programming
• bash/Python scripting
• Debug software issues on the hardware platform
• Cooperating with other project members to get support
• Reporting progress to supervising engineer

Requirements

• Familiar with Linux
• Programming experience (for example Python, C/C++)
• Good English skills, spoken and written
• Good communication skills
• Function well in a team
• Attention to detail
• Interest in audio, video or imaging field would be a plus
