Summary

Dolby Cinema group is a tightly-knit team where products are created in close collaboration between software, hardware, quality assurance engineers, and product managers. As an engineer, you have a chance to impact directly shape of the product and see how your contributions translate into customer value. The team you will join is responsible for the implementation of the system and application-level software for the Linux platform running on in-house designed hardware. You will work closely with SW developers on the quality assurance of new features for audio/video cinema products. Duties include problem investigation, maintaining and creating test environments as well as designing, automating, and executing test cases.

 

Qualifications and personal skills

  • Experience with Linux/UNIX and Windows operating systems and command line interfaces.
  • Ability to design, setup, configure and track issues in complex audio system.
  • Very good verbal and written English skills.
  • Creating test design and test case specifications.
  • Reporting test progress and test completion.
  • Familiar with: Bash, Python, HTML.
  • Basics of IP networking.

 

Nice to have

  • General knowledge of analog and digital audio/video domain.
  • Experience with audio measurement tools.
  • Experience with programming.
  • A genuine interest in audio and video entertainment technologies.
