As Senior Engineer, you'll be dealing with:

  • Development in JavaScript/Node 
  • Intelligent resource management in the Cloud
  • Workflow development and management
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • Microservices
  • Databases (e.g. MySQL)
  • User/Account management
  • Security concepts
  • AWS, Google Cloud, Azure

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop efficient and scalable Cloud solutions
  • Participate in designing system architecture
  • Database fine-tuning
  • cooperate with other teams across Dolby
  • Guide less experienced developers

 

Qualifications and skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Engineering mindset
  • Strong programming skills and design fundaments
  • Professional experience with relational databases or database fundamentals and willingness to deepen expertise in this area
  • Knowledge of REST API design and development
  • Professional experience in one of the object-oriented languages (Java, C#, C++ or similar), experience in low-level languages is also a plus
  • Ability and willingness to use JavaScript/Node.js as a leading technology (professional experience in Node.js is a huge plus)
  • Ability to use scripting or other programming languages when needed
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Oral and written fluency in English
  • Ability to efficiently cooperate with other engineering teams
  • Understanding and experience with translating high-level requirements into the efficient engineering solutions
  • Ability to cooperate with international teams in various time zones (e.g. USA)
