Software Engineering Intern

Responsibilities

•  Assist in developing and maintaining software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews and implement feedback from senior engineers
• Help troubleshoot and fix bugs in existing applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement solutions
• Participate in agile development processes including daily stand-ups and sprint planning
• Document technical specifications and processes
• Learn and apply new technologies as needed for specific projects

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
• Experience in Python
• Basic understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment

Nice to Have

• Previous internship or project experience in software development
• Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL or NoSQL)
• Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum)
• Contributions to open-source projects
