We are seeking a creative and motivated Visual Designer Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment, contributing to real-world projects. The ideal candidate will assist in creating visually appealing assets like graphics, videos, and other visual aids, and help build a comprehensive graphics warehouse.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and creation of visual assets for web and print.
  • Help with video editing using the available tools and process 
  • Provide support in the creation of new SVG graphics as needed.
  • Help develop guidelines and best practices for graphics organization and metadata management.
  • Suggest metatags for SVG files to improve searchability and usability.
  • Collaborate with the design team to maintain and develop our brand identity.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure consistency and accuracy in all visual assets.
  • Stay updated on the latest design trends and AI tools, and bring fresh ideas to the team.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator or similar
  • Basic knowledge in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and animation tools like After Effects
  • Knowledge of SVG file formats.
  • Basic understanding of metadata and its application in organizing digital assets.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to receive feedback and make revisions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

 

Nice to have: 

  • 1-2 years of experience/proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and animation tools like After Effects
  • Familiarity with video codecs, formats, and compression 
  • Familiarity with web design principles and tools (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
